WHAT WE DO
We buy, sell, repair and refurbish Hobart, Anvil or Kitchen Aid Commercial Mixers, Berkel Scharfen Bowl Choppers and Hobart Buffalo Choppers. We do not repair restaurant equipment in general. All repairs are limited to Hobart, Anvil, Kitchen Aid Commercial Mixers or Buffalo and Bowl Choppers.
Regardless of shape, we can repair your Hobart Buffalo or Berkel Scharfen Bowl Chopper, Hobart, Anvil or Kitchen Aid Mixer and/or restore it to virtually "Factory New" condition.
We are experienced independent equipment repair technicians and
are not affiliated with Hobart Corporation, Berkel, Kitchen Aid or Anvil in any manner.
Our service area is Atlanta Metro. However, we do repairs
for customers outside the area who bring or send
us their mixers and choppers.

On a broken mixer or chopper, we diagnose all problems and repair them. It's then ready to go back in service. On a mixer, if we are refurbishing it, we remove all gears, internal parts and motor. After all the internal gears and related items are removed, the case gets a complete degreasing and cleaning. Following that, the rest of the parts (base, stand, bowl lift, etc.) are disassembled. Once disassembled, each item is scraped, degreased, stripped of paint, wire brushed and sanded. Large imperfections or dents are filled with body putty and sanded. The next step is to prime all of the paintable parts. After priming, two coats of color are applied followed by two coats of clear coat. When the unit has dried (48 hours), the assembly process begins. After assembling the mixer head and base, all internal components are reinstalled. The unit is then greased and tested. It is
now ready for service
On buffalo choppers, the process is basically the same. The main difference is that no paint is applied to the wire brushed, sanded and polished exterior of the buffalo chopper.
